Epic Universe Opens at Universal Orlando Resort

The world's newest theme park is now open in Florida. On May 22, Universal Epic Universe opened at Universal Orlando Resort. This makes three theme parks (together with Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure) and one water park on the Universal campus. If it wasn't already, this definitely takes Universal to the status of a weeklong vacation destination!

Epic Universe has 5 new themed areas, with rides, shows, atmosphere, and dining to match:

• Celestial Park - entrance to the

  other "portals.' European elegance with a focus on the cosmos.

• How to Train Your Dragon - Isle of Berk

• Super Nintendo World

• Dark Universe - themed to Universal movie monsters

• Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Ministry of Magic

Along with the new theme park, the Epic Universe area also boasts three new hotels. Stella Nova and Terra Luna are Prime Value resorts, featuring rooms with 2 queen beds each, some with theme park views. These resorts have appealing food and drink options, nice pools, and fitness centers onsite, despite their lower prices. Then, on the edge of Epic Universe, you will find Helios Grand Hotel. This resort is a Signature resort, Universal's highest tier of accommodations. Along with elevated dining and amenities, Helios also has a dedicated park entrance to Epic inside the resort.
